Vier Musiker (Drums, Percussion, Gitarren, Tasteninstrumente) aus dem schönen Dräsden zeigen wie aufregend und klug so was heute klingen kann. Ne:o schwelgen in ausgefeilten Melodien und bodenständigen Rhythmen - und endlich traut sich auch mal jemand zu, verspielt ausgefallene Arrangements zu komponieren! Natürlich braucht es dazu auch die Musiker, die das spielen können. Bei Ne:o habe ich den Eindruck, als hätten die nie was anderes gemacht. Hier kommt die Musik mit einer Leichtigkeit rüber, die Staunen und Verblüffung hervorruft. Hut ab vor tonAtom, das sich für den Release dieser für das Label-Repertoire eher ungewöhnlichen Produktion entschieden hat.”
